Andrew Bennett
Andrew is a senior partner at the Chandlers Ford office. He
has broad experience advising owner managed businesses on business

Charles Cable
Charles qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987 and was
made a partner with Rothman Pantall & Co in 1990. He is a general
practice partner and acts for all types of businesses including
those in manufacturing and service based. He has a particular
interest in agricultural having come from a farming background. |

Carolyn is a Chartered Accountant and holds Certificates in Personal Financial Planning. She also advises businesses on general financial and tax planning issues, as well as on Pension Schemes and Life Insurance matters.

Richard
Hutchinson
Richard trained as a Chartered Certified Accountant with a practice in Bournemouth, qualifying in 1986. He moved to the Portsmouth area in 2000 before joining the Havant office of Rothman Pantall & Co in 2004.
Richard has a wide range of general practice experience, dealing with many different business sectors, focusing in particular on the needs of owner-managed businesses. In addition he is responsible for audit and compliance services to some of the firm's largest clients.
Richard is also Secretary of the Southern Society of Chartered Accountants' Technical Advisory Committee, which advises on changes in audit and financial reporting issues as well as reviewing government consultations on tax and company law changes.

Tony Johnson
Tony Johnson joined the Chandlers Ford office in 1996, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 and a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1995. He has had considerable experience advising small and medium sized businesses on not just the core areas of audit, accounts and taxation but also other areas of commercial interest including business structures and company acquisitions and disposals.

Daren Laidlaw
Daren joined the firm's Segensworth office in 1997 and became a partner in 2001. He graduated from University College North Wales, Bangor with a BA (Jt. Hons) in Mathematics and Accountancy. He trained and qualified with a small firm and was based in Fareham. Daren has considerable general practice experience, advising a variety of businesses across the South Coast. He specialises in owner-managed businesses and enjoys the close working relationship such clients require. Daren lives in Whiteley with his wife and two sons. |

Martin Osborne
Martin became a partner in 1986 and is based at the Portsmouth North and Segensworth offices. He trained with a small firm in the Midlands and qualified in 1982. Having gained considerable experience in advising small and medium sized businesses, Martin enjoyed a two-year secondment in Zimbabwe, where he worked on the firm's larger international audit assignments.
He joined Rothman Pantall & Co in 1984 steadily increasing the client base of the Segensworth office and subsequently achieving considerable success at the Portsmouth North office. Martin has a wealth of experience in advising businesses on all aspects of finance and taxation. He lives in Bishops Waltham with his wife and three children.

John Poulter
Trained as a Chartered Accountant and qualified in 1973. John became a fellow of the Institute in January 1979 and also became an Associated Member of the Institute of Taxation in 1975.
John is a general practitioner dealing with personal and business taxation planning, mainly family business related including raising finance.

James Shaw
James is a partner in our Havant office. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the firm in 1979 and became a partner in 1983. His training is in general practice and he has had an extensive period of service on the Southern Society of Chartered Accountants Technical Advisory Committee.
James is one of the South's leading tax experts specializing
in private client work for high net worth individuals and technical
tax planning for company acquisitions and disposals. He is responsible
for the tax affairs of some of the firm's largest clients. He
is also the firm's tax investigation specialist having successfully
concluded many Special Compliance Office investigations.

Richard Showan
As well as being a Chartered Accountant, is also a member of
the Chartered Institute of Taxation. His main interests include
the management, organization and taxation of small and medium-sized
businesses. He also has a particular interest in forensic accounting
and has acted as an expert witness in personal injury and matrimonial
cases. |

David Smyth
David is the tax partner at Chandlers Ford office and has been specializing in tax, both personal and corporate in general practice since 1975. He has been with Rothman Pantall since 1988 having previously been a partner in a London firm. |

Terry Stocker
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1971 with a small firm
in Birmingham. He then joined Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co (now
KPMG) in Kingston, Jamaica. He spent the next 12 years with
that firm moving from Jamaica back to the UK and then to Malaysia.
Terry then joined Rothman Pantall & Co in the Havant office
in 1983, becoming a partner in 1985. He moved to Portsmouth
South in 1995 to open a new office for the Firm. Terry was elected
as Senior Partner of the firm in 1999 following the retirement
of Geoff Pantall.
The Portsmouth office deals with all general practice matters and specializes in IT and corporate finance.

Sullivan
Opened the Salisbury office in 1990, after several years as
a partner. Sue is a general practitioner with a taxation bias.
Her particular interest is the tax and accounting strategies
of owner managed businesses. |
